1120 SW 5th Ave, Suite 613, Portland, OR 97204
Project Update: May 7, 2020
The City of Portland’s Bureau of Environmental Services is continuing our work to repair and replace critical sewer and stormwater infrastructure. Environmental Services will continue to provide information and updates on construction schedules and activities during the COVID-19 emergency.
Environmental Services will begin construction to provide property owners a way to directly and independently connect to the public sewer system. The project will also help protect public health, property, and the environment by increasing the capacity of the public sewer system, reducing the potential for basement backups, and reducing the possibility of emergency work in the future.
This project is located on SW Grenwolde Place between SW Upper Drive and the cul-de-sac of SW Grenwolde Place.
Our contractor, Interlaken, is scheduled to begin construction during the week of May 11. This project is anticipated to be complete by the end of June.
Prior to construction, you may see crews surveying, trimming trees to protect them from large equipment, inspecting pipe and manholes to verify their conditions, marking utilities, or other preconstruction activities.
