On March 12-13, Ecoroof Portland will feature vendors from throughout the ecoroof industry on-hand to share their project experience, products, and services. In addition, throughout both days there will be several sessions on the lower level that cover an array of topics to the industry. The next few posts will give you an overview of each session to help you time your visit.

An Introduction to Ecoroofs in Portland - 10:30-11:00 am, March 12 and 13th

Ecoroof Portland will include a morning warm-up at 10:30 am on both Friday and Saturday. This session will be helpful for anyone just getting started with ecoroofs. Whether you're a curious property owner or developer, student or educator, or aspiring to become an ecoroof professional, this session will be a good place to start.

Attendees will learn about the general ecoroof information - how they work, why they're important, and what resources are available to help you get started on your own project. You'll also learn about technical resources available to help aspiring ecoroof professionals gain skills and experience in the ecoroof industry.

Finally, this session will include an overview of the day's program and some tips on navigating the vendor floor. Make sure you save plenty of time to visit the many designers, installers, suppliers, and manufacturers on the Main Floor.
