One lane of SW Harrison Street eastbound between SW 4th and 1st avenues re-opened yesterday at about 8:00 p.m., and Portland Streetcar resumed service through the area.
The street temporarily closed yesterday and streetcar service was shut down when sewer repair crews discovered a large cavity under the street. Crews filled the cavity and restored the surface last night.
One lane of Harrison eastbound will remain closed through the first week of October to repair a sewer pipe under the street.
