A sewage release has been reported at SW 79th and Garden Home along the Fanno Creek Trail at about 7:15 pm.  Approximately 15,000 gallons of sewage could be released along the trail by the time the sewer line is done draining.  The pressure main has been shut off at the Fanno Pump Station. The trail is closed from SW 78th to SW 82nd until further notice.

No sewage has been released into Fanno Creek at this time.  Maintenance crews are determining the cause of the leak, but think it may be a pressure main malfunction.
