In summer 2010, the City of Portland and Reed College worked together on projects to enhance Crystal Springs Creek and remove fish passage barriers. Reed College completed a site restoration and stream re-meandering project on the west end of the Reed Canyon. Environmental Services replaced a two-foot diameter culvert under SE 28th Avenue with a larger culvert to improve fish passage.
