Tryon Creek Trunk Sewer Repair Project
The Tryon Creek Trunk Sewer is a 30-inch, above-ground pipe that carries sewage from parts of southwest Portland and Lake Oswego to the City of Portland’s Tryon Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant in Lake Oswego. Environmental Services is planning repairs, including a seismic upgrade, to a portion of the 50-year-old pipe between the Tryon Creek State Natural Area and the Tryon Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Environmental Services is developing alternatives to the best way to repair the sewer while protecting native steelhead, cutthroat trout and coho salmon in Tryon Creek.
