Sewer construction closes lanes on SE Clinton Street beginning on May 20
May 17, 2013
A sewer construction project that begins on Monday, May 20, 2013 will require intermittent lane restrictions and street closures on SE Clinton Street and side streets between SE 34th and SE 26th avenues for up to eight weeks (http://goo.gl/maps/bpNZZ). Construction hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. All lanes will be open to traffic after construction hours.
Motorists are advised to expect delays, drive cautiously, observe all lane closures and directions by flaggers, and use alternate routes if possible.
Bicycle and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Local access to residences and businesses will be provided on side streets.
This work is part of the Division Streetscape Project to improve a deficient transportation corridor, make the sewer system more reliable and add green infrastructure to make sewers work more efficiently and improve watershed health.
