Sewer construction to close SE Clinton and 27th
July 5, 2013
A sewer repair project will close the intersection of SE Clinton Street and SE 27th Avenue starting early on Monday, July 8th. The intersection will be closed 24 hours a day for at least one week while construction crews install a large diameter manhole.
Motorists will detour around the intersection. Flaggers will maintain access through the intersection for bicyclists and pedestrians on the north sidewalk of the intersection. Bicyclists are asked to walk bikes through the construction zone.
The work is part of the Division Streetscape Project. The Portland Bureau of Transportation and Environmental Services are working together on streetscape and sewer improvements. More project information is available at www.portlandoregon.gov/bes/Streetscape.
