Environmental Services has published the Weed Identification Guide that helps Green Street Stewards maintain facilities. This handy tool illustrates dozens of weeds in varying stages of growth to help maintenance needs throughout the year. The Guide also prescribes the best means for weed removal. The Guide not only helps with green streets, but can help identify weeds in any home landscaping or ecoroof projects.  

Interested in learning more about the Green Street Stewards? Community members asked how they can participate in the care and maintenance of Portland's Green Streets. Environmental Services has responded with the Green Street Steward program. If you live, work or run a business in Portland you can qualify to be a part of this pioneering initiative.
