Traffic restrictions on NE 57th Avenue north of Sandy
Traffic Advisory
May 6, 2015
Daytime sewer construction is reducing traffic on NE 57th Avenue to one lane between NE Siskiyou and NE Fremont streets. Flaggers are alternating traffic in a single lane during construction hours, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Motorists and cyclists should expect delays. Construction will occasionally close sidewalks and pedestrian crossings in the work area. Construction on NE 57th will take about two months to complete.
The work is part of the Rose City Park Sewer Repair Project. Environmental Services is replacing or repairing about 40,000 feet of public sewer pipes that are between 60 and 100 years old and failing due to age.
