We’re looking forward to this year’s Sunday Parkways, with the Portland Bureau of Transportation, presenting sponsor Kaiser Permanente, and the thousands of partners, volunteers and awesome people that have made these events a defining part of Portland’s May to October “summer” season.

Portland Sunday Parkways are fun ways for Portlanders of all ages to get out and bike, walk, run, roll, and enjoy healthy activities.  Human-powered transportation is also a great way to help our rivers, streams and environment.  For a glorious Sunday (or five!), we can slow down and see the nature right here in our neighborhoods.

Environmental Services is hosting a stop at Foster Floodplain Natural Area in Lents during the East Portland Sunday Parkways on May 15.  Meet us there to see the restoration progress at this important natural area.

And for the Sellwood-Milwaukie Sunday Parkways on October 2, we’ll be teaming up with the Salmon Celebration at Westmoreland Park to celebrate the restoration of Crystal Springs Creek and the return of wild salmon to the city.

East Portland - May 15, 11am to 4pm (7 miles)

North Portland - June 26, 11am to 4pm (9.5 miles)

Northeast Portland - July 24, 11am to 4pm (8 miles)

Southeast Portland – August 21, 11am to 4pm (7 miles)

Sellwood/Milwaukie – October 2, 11am to 4pm (8 miles)
