Environmental Services has begun construction on an urgent sewer repair project in your neighborhood to repair approximately 187 feet of a 100-year-old, severely deteriorated public sewer pipe. The sewer pipe runs under a private property between NW Westover Road and NW Summit Avenue, near NW Lovejoy Street. This project will help protect public health, water quality, and the Fanno Creek Watershed by reducing the possibility of sewage releases to homes, businesses, and streets.
Construction will occur in the public right-of-way and on private property between NW Westover Road and NW Summit Avenue, near NW Lovejoy Street. See map.
This is an urgent sewer repair. Some pre-construction activities have already begun, such as surveying and utility marking. The actual pipe repair is anticipated to begin the week of September 30th and continue at least through October.
