Environmental Services is preparing to construct repairs to a public sewer mainline pipe in SW Washington Street between SW Park Avenue and SW 10th Avenue. This project will protect the public and the environment by reducing the possibility of sewage releases and basement flooding in buildings and streets.
The public sewer mainline to be repaired is in the north side of SW Washington Street between SW Park and SW 10th Avenue.
In general, work hours are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday while crews complete pre-construction activities. To reduce public impacts and complete the work as quickly as possible, the actual sewer repair work (to be scheduled in the near future) might be completed at night between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m. Monday through Saturday.
Between now and early November, crews will conduct pre-construction activities before they proceed with sewer repair work.
