The following requirements are the responsibility of the general contractor or property owner
Requirements - All building projects must meet the requirements as indicated below in order to maximize reuse and recycling of debris generated by construction and demolition activities. Stand-alone permits for fences, decks, or trade permits such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing or signs are not required to meet these requirements.
Compliance - Failure to comply with these requirements is considered an infraction and subject to an assessment (up to $500 for first violation – City Code 17.102.090).
