On July 29, 2015, City Council voted to adopt the Southeast Quadrant Plan. This plan was the result of two years of planning. City staff held open houses, tours, workshops and public meetings at venues throughout the Central Eastside to gather community input. There was also a 30-member Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) with representatives from small and large businesses, property owners, non-profits and the neighborhood associations that provided ongoing feedback. Over the next year, staff will integrate the Southeast, N/NE and West Quadrant plans and other input as they update the 1988 Central City Plan. Opportunities to engage with this process will be publicized on the Central City 2035 Plan website.
