The second of the Central City 2035 quadrant plans, West Quadrant Plan updates goals, policies and actions for seven Central City districts. UDS staff conceived, developed, and refined numerous urban design principles, concept diagrams, district maps, narrative documents, site development schemes and new design ideas for the riverfront, open spaces and diversified connectivity. For the West Quadrant Plan, the UDS prepared the “Green Loop” concept report, describing and illustrating the idea of a new, linear open space linking all districts of the Central City.
