Energy Performance Reporting Policy for Commercial Buildings

  • Explore individual building performance data in an interactive map.

  • Second annual report now available, including buildings 20,000 square feet and larger

  • Find resources to help you improve your building’s score for 2018 and beyond

To reduce energy costs and carbon emissions, Portland City Council passed a policy in 2015 that requires commercial buildings 20,000 square feet and over to:

    1. Track energy use with ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager®, and
    2. Report energy performance information annually to the City of Portland.
