Draft City Council Amendments to the Recommended Draft Central City 2035 Plan

The Amendments Report is a compilation of all amendments to CC2035 that the Portland City Council has moved and seconded for consideration at a January 18, 2018 public hearing.  The amendments are based on public testimony on the Central City 2035 Recommended Draft (June 2017) and City Council and City staff input.

City Council received more than 600 pieces of written testimony and heard from over 100 people at three public hearings held: September 7, 14 and 20, 2017. They held three deliberation sessions on October 18, November 29 and December 6, 2017 where they considered and then moved and seconded the amendments that they wanted to consider further.  Those amendments are part of this report.

By identifying a possible amendment, the sponsoring Commissioner is expressing an interest in further discussion. However, they have not yet committed to vote for the change.

The public is welcome to testify on any of the proposed amendments at the hearings. Please reference the amendment package and number in testimony. Learn more about how to testify.
