Public Invited to SE 122nd Ave Rezoning Project Open House
Proposals for commercial development, home businesses and sidewalk construction featured, among others
Portland, ORE - The SE 122nd Avenue Rezoning Project team and Project Advisory Group have been discussing and refining proposals for commercial rezoning along SE 122nd Avenue to address community needs. They have also considered challenges with multi-family zoning and home business permitting.
Now they have proposals to share and want to get feedback on:
• Where and what type of additional commercial development is desired.
• Where and what sort of design elements would make new multi-family development a better neighbor.
• Changes to the City’s regulations that would make home business a more attractive option for small businesses, while protecting the character of residential neighborhoods.
A public open house is scheduled for February 23rd at Gilbert Park Elementary School. Free refreshments will be served at the event.
