  • Presentation/discussion: demographic trends that affect school enrollment, operations, stability and resilience today and in the future
  • Feedback to staff on draft Comprehensive Plan policies

Overview of Data and Trends that Affect Schools and School Districts (20 minutes)
Presenters: Deborah Stein and Uma Krishnan, Bureau of Planning and Sustainability

  • Demographics: City and school districts
  • Key demographic issues affecting school districts in Portland
  • School district strategies to address trends
  • Policy interplay: in what ways do City policies and school district policies affect each other?
