The Southeast Quadrant Plan will be launching its Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) process later this month. The 30-member SAC was selected through an open application process and includes representatives from a diverse group of stakeholders including neighborhood and business associations, a variety of business sectors, institutions, services, property owners and other community organizations.
The SAC will help guide the development of the Southeast Quadrant Plan, which will examine a range of land use, urban design, transportation, environmental and economic development issues in the Southeast Quadrant of the Central City. This work will result in policy recommendations and potential regulatory changes to guide future public and private investment and development in the Central Eastside District of the Central City, as well as two study areas: the Banfield Portal at the northern end of the plan area and Clinton Triangle at the southern end.
The first two SAC meetings have been scheduled:
- SAC Meeting #1: Wed, November 20, 2013, 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.
- SAC Meeting #2: Thurs, December 12, 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.
Both meetings will be held at Multnomah County Offices, 501 SE Hawthorne, Room 315.
All SAC meetings are open to the public and will include public comment periods. Meeting packets with an agenda and other materials will be posted on the SAC Documents page approximately one week before every meeting. Stay tuned for more information about the SAC as the process moves forward.
