Parks Board Hearing
The Portland Parks Board is reviewing the Discussion Draft of the Off Road Cycling Plan and will consider public feedback before providing a recommendation in Spring 2018.
Next Parks Board meeting will be in a new location and is scheduled for:
Tuesday, April 3, 2018, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM

At its April 3rd meeting, the Parks Board will consider making comments on the current Discussion Draft of the Off-Road Cycling Master Plan (ORCMP). Any comments made by the Parks Board will be delivered to the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability which is tasked with producing a final ORCMP.
Because of the level of interest in the ORCMP, the Board will extend the time for public comment on the Drat Plan for up to one hour. The format of the comment period will be as follows:
- Panel 1: Invited testimony from Portlanders concerned about additional off-road cycling in Forest Park (10 minutes)
- Panel 2: Invited testimony from Portlanders in favor of additional off-road cycling in Forest Park
- Panel 3: Invited testimony from Portlanders on off-road cycling in the Riverview Natural Area (2 in favor of off-road cycling; 2 with concerns about off road cycling)
- Panel 4: Individual Comments on Other Aspects of the ORCMP (excluding Forest Park and Riverview) 6 slots for testimony, each speaker limited to 2 minutes. Individuals wishing to speak will be asked to submit a Speaker Request Form. If there are more interested speakers than slots, there will be a drawing to determine the 6 individuals who will speak.
The Board will consider written testimony of 5 pages or less submitted by March 23rd at 1:00 pm to Hailee.Vandiver@portlandoregon.gov. Testimony received after that date and time may not be considered by the Board.
