The Green Loop will be many things to many people … a place for us to be active and safe, to have fun and be together. It’s a playground and oasis for all ages. It’s like Sunday parkways every day. And it’s free! Just like Waterfront Park and Pioneer Square, this linear park will be open to everyone. And like the Eastbank Esplanade or the Streetcar Loop, it offers a convenient way to move around.

The Green Loop is an urban design concept in the CC2035 Plan. It proposes a signature 6-mile linear park and active transportation path that will bring new life and energy to the Central City. The Green Loop will promote more walking, biking, rolling, jogging and public transit trips in, around, to and from the city's urban core, bringing residents, employees, students, visitors and recreators together in an exhilarating new way.
