Procurement Services Events World Arts Foundation 33nd Annual Martin Luther King Jr. “Where Do We Go From Here” Tribute Community Events Highland Christian Church 7600 NE Glisan St., Portland, OR 97213 On behalf of the City of Portland 'We Are Better Together' outreach team, Procurement Services sponsored the World Arts Foundation 33nd Annual Martin Luther King Jr. 'Where Do We Go From Here' Tribute. This is held every year after the Skanner MLK Breakfast. Our Oregon Elected Officials attend and speak at this event honoring the work of Dr. King and Community. The City of Portland will have a Climate Change and Your Sustainable City booth at this event. All staff and community members are invited to attend this event. So, if you are looking for a way to celebrate Martin Luther King Day, this is a great event filled with informative speakers, entertainment and amazing African American History. "Where Do We Go From Here' is an educational, cultural, and historical event designed to celebrate and commemorate the life and example of Dr. King's struggle and service. This program works to inspire local, state, and regional communities through participation in the 6-hour live program. Our live audience, media broadcasts, and print media coverage ensure a minimum exposure of 300,000 persons. Following the holiday event, local cable broadcast media have been authorized to re-broadcast the program during other parts of the year giving notoriety and recognition to artists, educators, elected officials, and 'Lifetime Achievers'.
