The Oregon State Association of Occupational Health Nurses (OSAOHN) was founded in 1974. It is a professional organization of nurses engaged in the specialty field of occupational health. Membership is composed of registered nurses from Oregon and Southwest Washington. Carolyn Williams has been President Elect and is now the association President. She attended to national convention were the Chapter accepted the AAOHN Education Award for Best One-Day Offering. The program was "Transforming Oregon's Medical Care System: Impacts in Occupational Health." It included information on the Affordable Care Act and Oregon’s Community Care Organization model.
