On-Site Technical Assistance for State Certified DMWESBs/SDVBs

In April 2020 the City of Portland launched its Clean Air Construction (CAC) Technical Assistance program.

If you are a state certified DMWESB/SDVB construction firm that conducts business with the City of Portland (currently/recently/upcoming – as a prime or subcontractor), you can sign up to have a City-funded consultant schedule a time with you to come look at your nonroad diesel equipment, on-road dump trucks, and/or on-road concrete mixers.  The consultant will:

  • Look at your applicable diesel equipment/vehicles to determine their EPA emissions tier.
  • Assess the compliance status of your applicable diesel equipment/vehicles against the CAC Standard.
  • Collaborate with you on a CAC plan for your applicable equipment/vehicles, including retrofit emission control device information, grant funding opportunities, and more.

Availability of CAC Technical Assistance is first-come-first-served and will be available until allocated funds are exhausted.
