JC Oxbow Permanent Scour Repair E10996 $335,564.33 Local 04/13/18 Bistoff, Sean 503-823-7125 The oxbow is a high energy reach of Johnson Creek with significant bank erosion near the apex of the meander, on the NE side. This erosion occurs along the right bank, where the oxbow begins turning toward the west. Large wood deposited in this area directed flow toward the right bank, causing scour and bank failure on BES property. The bank has receded roughly 30' over the past several winters, threatening the private residence at 4330 SE Tenino St. and the BES ACZ290 outfall structure. The scope of the project is for Greenworks to complete design of the preferred alternative from a Pre-Design report produced by ESA Vigil-Agrmis. This alternative lays back the over-steepened eroding bank, installs large wood barbs, and lowers the bank elevation at the tip of the oxbow meander. Greenworks will also provide engineering during construction, which will occur in Summer 2018. 04/02/2018 10:04 08/01/2018 12:08
