The plans will be used to construct, implement and deploy Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) along North Going from Interstate at N Going to swan Island. The Project will install ITS infrastructure, including system loops, bike count stations, Bluetooth MAC address matching sensors, CCTV cameras, and communications infrastructure. The project will also integrate these ITS devices and the traffic signal controllers along each corridor with the City’s and ODOT’s Transportation Operation Centers. NNE Columbia Blvd ITS project TBD $up to $250,000 Federal 01/24/18 TBD The project will expand several existing ITS systems including Bluetooth travel time monitoring, monitoring cameras, truck signal priority, system and bike detectors, and traffic signal controller upgrades. The project will also install fiber optic cable to provide high-speed communications to the ITS devices and traffic signal controllers. As part of the expansion, the project includes preparing and furnishing systems engineering documentation, and completing final plans, special provisions and detailed engineer’s cost estimate (“PS&E"). The plans will be used to construct, implement and deploy ITS along N/NE Columbia Blvd, as defined by the Concept of Operations. The N/NE Columbia ITS Project (“Project”) will install ITS infrastructure, including system loops, bike count stations, Bluetooth MAC address matching sensors, CCTV cameras, and communications infrastructure. The Project will also integrate these ITS devices and the traffic signal controllers along the corridor with the City of Portland’s and ODOT’s Transportation Operation Centers. Streets 2035 TBD $500,000. TBD 03/12/18 Hoffman, Ashly PBOT will be soliciting services for Streets 2035! Streets 2035 will provide a transparent, defensible and common framework for allocation of public ROW to meet Comprehensive Plan 2035 and Transportation System Plan goals and implement the strategy for people movement (modal hierarchy). Streets 2035 will consist of at least two phases to address ROW Allocation and Policy as well as Complete Street implementation tools, providing a resource to those who design or construct infrastructure in the ROW as part of development or capital projects. The project will create a framework for bringing disparate City policies together to achieve a common goal of appropriate street improvements that balance multiple ROW demands including: movement of people and goods, safe access for people, activation for commerce, vibrant social interactions, enhanced aesthetics, environmental health, and storage for parking vehicles or equipment. 02/12/2018 18:02 02/21/2018 14:02
