NEW Time Management Tools Support
At this point, the EBS team has visited MOST of the bureaus to discuss the new ESS time sheet and new time and leave approval tools which will be available on June 6th. This visit included a demo of the new tools and a discussion with management about what changes will be required for the bureau’s current business processes. Listed below are the various ways we will be supporting the roll out of these new tools.
Timekeepers City-wide will get the new ESS time sheet and Time Management Tools on May 23rd. The timekeepers will be the front-line support for these new tools beginning on June 6th when the new time sheets and Time Management Tools will roll out to most of the City. We want to give the timekeepers a pay period to preview these new tools before their employees begin using them.
Timekeeper-specific training will be provided for Time Management Tools. We will conduct a number of WebEx sessions specifically for timekeepers which will explain where to access the new time sheet and time management tools. We will also talk about how the use of these new tools will change the timekeeper role in the time approval processes. Please see below for course dates/times and register on the CityLearner webpage.
New Time Entry Rules not in effect until June 6th. Even though you will receive the new tools on May 23rd, the new rules we have been working on won’t be in effect until June 6th. Also, the new OC and Premium columns on the Time Sheet will be hidden until June 6th.
