City of Portland Announces 2018 Spirit of Portland Award Recipients

Spirit of Portland Awards are a recognition of outstanding Portlanders and the impact of their work. In celebration of Portland’s diverse communities, the theme for this year's ceremony is "One City, Many Communities".

PORTLAND, OR–The Mayor and City of Portland Commissioners invite you to join in honoring the 34th Annual Spirit of Portland Award recipients.

Spirit of Portland recipients are nominated by their peers, City Commissioners and the Mayor. This year’s recipients have been selected by previous Spirit of Portland honorees, community members, and City Council.

"Since its inception in 1985, the Spirit of Portland Awards has recognized activists, community advocates, and a wide range of committed individuals who serve to advance the Portland community. Awardees embody our city’s culture, goals, and an overarching dedication to enriching the lives of their fellow Portlanders."
