Meet the Code Change Committee

Meet the Code Change Committee (Committee 3.96)

Committee 3.96 is comprised of a rich cross-section of Portlanders and will draw from their collective experiences, expertise and bring forward issues relevant to all Portlanders. Our goal is to ensure that the process of revising the City Code Chapter 3.96 is shaped by engaging multiple perspectives from across our city.

Throughout this process, Portlanders will be invited (in many formats and languages) to take part and offer feedback. The collected community feedback will be presented to Committee 3.96 and will serve to inform their conversations.

Finally, Committee 3.96 will offer a set of recommendations that help redefine civic engagement and increase civic participation in our city. These recommendations will also better shape relationships with existing bureau partners and with those whom we aim to better serve
