Adapt to Impact is a collective of Citywide programs that work across the City's 26 bureaus to strategically transform the City's engagement with impacted communities, especially those that have been underserved and under-engaged in policy, budget, development, planning, and programming decisions.

 Who We Are

Adapt To Impact is currently comprised of four Citywide Programs:

  • Citywide Public Involvement Best Practices Program, est. 2008
  • Advisory Bodies Program, est. 2018
  • Disability Program, est. 2004
  • Mental Health Program, est. 2019

Our Model

We are committed to co-creating with bureau collaborators citywide, an engagement initiative that is adaptive to community needs and priorities. The cornerstones of adaptive governance are collaboration and change. Our priorities, commitments, and actions are informed by data, research, emerging practices, and lived experience. Our approach is rooted in a commitment to equity.
