OHSU studying depression in men with disabilities for program development
The Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU), in collaboration with HASL Independent Abilities Center is conducting a study to gather information to inform development of a program designed to meet the specific needs of men with physical disabilities. Men with a physical disability are being asked to participate and share their experiences.
Dr. Dena Hassouneh is leading the study where men who choose to participate will be asked to have an interview to share their thoughts and experiences. It will be audiotaped for transcription, but all identifying information will be removed from interview data to maintain confidentiality. Participants will be paid $25 for taking part in the study.
