Introduction to Restorative Justice and Restorative Justice Circle Training

Introduction to Restorative Justice
August 16 from 9am – 4pm
NW Health Foundation, 221 NW Second Ave, Suite 300

Explore why and how Restorative Justice can be a promising alternative to exclusionary practices in your school, workplace, or community group.

“It was a great balance of circle, lecture, group work and movement. The topic had me 100% engaged.”

Restorative Justice is a valuable alternative to exclusionary practices when community problems occur. It seeks to restore community and repair harm while holding all involved accountable.

Restorative Justice Circle Training
August 17 from 9am – 4pm
NW Health Foundation, 221 NW Second Ave, Suite 300

Bringing restorative circles into your setting – whether school, program, agency, or organization – can be a very effective way to build relationships and create a strong community, and serves as the foundation for dealing with more challenging issues as they arise.

In this day-long Circle Facilitation Training we will introduce community building circles, provide experiential opportunities to plan and model, and share circle facilitation tips. We will talk about components and stages of a circle and about how to address challenges.
