Description

At this workshop, you'll receive an overview of the best ways to handle stormwater issues, and get plenty of hands on practice by removing grass, installing native plants, and creating pervious pathways. The entirety of the 4 hour workshop is spent outdoors (rain or shine). Most activities require the use of basic hand tools and the ability to perform light to moderate physical activity. Tools, safety equipment, and refreshments are provided.

Interested in learning about stormwater management, but don't want to perform any of the physical installation? It's ok, join us anyway! All are welcome at this family friendly event. For requests for physical, cultural, technological and/or any other accommodation to this event, please contact us.

Pre-registration is required. You can sign up here: www.swni.org/stormwater. For questions, email watershed@swni.org or call 503-823-2862.

Stormwater Stars is program of SW Neighborhoods Inc and the SW Watershed Resource Center, and is funded by a generous grant from West Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District.
