Training 2: Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation Prohibited (HR 2.02)

The second training required of all advisory body volunteers is Discrimination and Retaliation Prohibited (HR 2.02). This training provides you a foundation for the expectations for professional conduct that you are held to when you volunteer to advise the city.

Digital Training

This training is delivered online. Members of the advisory body first watch a short training video and then complete a short, 10 question quiz to certify compliance.

To administer the online training:

1. Staff Liaisons email AdvisoryBodies@portlandoregon.gov. Include the name of the advisory body, the training you are requesting, a list of member emails, and desired completion date.
2. Members will receive an invite to the online training & quiz.
3. Members will receive intermittent reminder emails if they have not completed the quiz by the training deadline.
4. A report of member training compliance is sent to the Staff Liaison after training deadline.
