Welcome to Adapt to Impact, Lorraine Wilson (she/her), is the Citywide Public Involvement and Equity Management Analyst. With over 25 years of experience working in upper management, her formal education in Organizational Behavior and Leadership was a natural fit. Being strategic and able to analyze situations, is her strength. Lorraine has applied the principles of organization behavior and strategic planning to her work in equity, diversity and inclusion.
Lorraine is an immigrant and citizen, who grew up in the beautiful twin island state of Trinidad and Tobago. Her career spans the energy sector, research lab, higher education, health care and government.
Lorraine currently facilitates the Public Involvement Advisory Council (PIAC) meetings. PIAC’s mission is to strengthen and institutionalize the City of Portland’s commitment to public involvement by adopting principles, policies, and guidelines that assist City bureaus in creating consistent expectations and processes for public involvement activities.
As a member of the team she collaborates to provide thoughtful, inclusive public involvement practices.
