Portland Utility Board
Description: The Boards' purpose is to advise the City Council, on behalf of and for the benefit of the citizens of Portland, on water, sewer, storm water, and solid waste financial plans and rates. The Board will advise Council on the establishment of fair and equitable rates, consistent with customer needs, legal mandates, existing public policies, operational requirements, and the long term financial stability and viability of the utilities.
Committee advises City Council on a perpetual base.
Total seats available: 11 voting members + 3 ex officio members
Term length: Three year
