Investment Advisory Committee
Description: The Investment Advisory Committee (Committee) shall advise the city in connection with portfolio oversight, investment policies, and investment practices. The Committee will review the investment portfolio, investment transactions, economic conditions and strategies regarding the management of the portfolio. The Committee will comply with all applicable fiduciary, prudence, and due diligence requirements experienced investment professionals would utilize; and with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations from various local, state, and federal entities that may impact the Portfolio.
Committee advises City Council on a limited term.
Total seats available: Three
Term length: Two year
Volunteer position description: The Commissioner In Charge, with approval by the Council, shall appoint the public members of the Committee to serve for 2-year terms that are renewable. The Committee holds at least three meetings per year at such times as is set by the body and at any other time as deemed necessary. The Office of Management and Finance provides staffing to the
Committee.
