Relocation Ordinance Documents and Information (Ordinance Passed)

Hello Portland!

*Update February 3rd, 2017 4:59 pm PST*

Ordinance 188219 “Amend Affordable Housing Preservation and Portland Renter Protections to add relocation assistance for involuntary displacements of tenants amend PCC 30.010.85” is now available in E-Files, along with exhibit A. The other documents, including testimony, will be added to E-Files at a later date.

In addition to the documents being available in E-Files, information about the ordinance is available online on the Council Clerk’s records webpage and the high interest Council items category.

THE VOTE IS A YES!!!

The ordinance passed the City Council unanimously last night! The language is currently going through the proper reviews to include the amendments that were passed last night. We will have the updated final version of the ordinance with the amendments as soon as possible.

The vote on the relocation ordinance is Thursday February 2nd. We want you to be involved and let each of us on city council understand your experiences with being a renter in Portland. And please show up to city hall if you can take the time to do so.
