Due to the recommendations from the Oregon Health Authority and Multnomah County Health Department, Portland Fire & Rescue will be temporarily suspending the ride along program.  We apologize for the inconvenience and will post an update when the ride along program resumes.

Individuals interested in a ride-along are required to meet one of the following criteria:

1.    Mandatory continuing education for public service providers

2.    Educational development of emergency services students (PCC, OHSU, etc.) This must be a curriculum requirement of their educational studies.

3. Members of the community seeking career development exposure

4. Others approved by the Deputy Chief's Office

If you feel you meet one of the criteria listed above, please fill out the ride along application and Hold Harmless Agreement and send via mail:  Ride Along Application and Hold Harmless Agreement.  You may also mail or fax.
