On Thursday, December 10th, Commissioners Fish and Leonard and Firefighter Paul Corah met with the third and final contestant in the firefighters' memorial design competition, Architect William Tripp. Meetings with the other two finalists took place on November 30th. The Selection Committee has now completed feedback sessions with all three finalists, who have until mid-January to revise their designs based on the feedback received or leave them as they are. Final design selection is expected to take place at the end of January 2010.
