On Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, Portland Fire & Rescue’s Fire Station 23 will be hosting a Child Passenger Safety Clinic open to the public. Fire Station 23 is located at 2915 SE 13th Place in Portland, Oregon.
Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians and trained volunteers from the Child Safety Seat Resource Center will be available at Fire Station 23 to work one-on-one with parents and caregivers to correctly install and inspect child safety seats. Each seat takes about 30 minutes to install and check for damage, size, and age appropriateness.
