KOIN Local 6 KEEP IT LOCAL SEGMENT: Firehouse Cooking at Station 12


A KOIN Local 6 Reporter and Videographer will be visiting Portland Fire & Rescue's own Fire Station 12 on Thursday, March 31, 2010, to film a "KOIN Keep It Local" segment on Firehouse Cooking!  KOIN Keep It Local segments are 100% focused on local issues and produced outside the studio. 

The segment will be aired on Thursday, March 31, 2010 on CBS (Station 6) between 4:00 and 5:00 pm. Don't worry if you miss it - the video clip with be posted here on the Fire Blog on Friday, March 26, 2010!

For the Firehouse Cooking segment tomorrow, Station 12 firefighters will be preparing brunch of fruit salad, corn and kiwi chutney, blueberry coffee cake, and traditional eggs benedict with fresh hollandaise. Brunch recipes made during the Firehouse Cooking segment can be viewed on Portland Fire & Rescue's Fire Blog at
