Product Recalls in June 2010

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSA) is charged with protecting the public from unreasonable risks of serious injury or death from thousands of types of consumer products. In June 2010, CPSA announced over 30 product recalls. Several items were recalled because they create fire hazards - this included programmable thermostat communication modules, plant-shaped decorative candles in a pot, electric scissors, front load washers, spring mattresses, dishwashers, and snowmobiles. Portland Fire & Rescue wants to make sure you’re aware of the recalled products in June 2010:
