September 8, 2010 -- The Rose City Rollers, Portland's flat track roller derby league, are hosting a Heroes Ball on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Jupiter Hotel beginning at 8:00 pm. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Portland Firefighters Association Local 43 in their effort to erect a memorial for fallen firefighters.

The Heroes Ball will include dancing, a silent auction and fun hero-themed photos with Rose City Roller skaters and Portland firefighters. If you are 21 and over, the Rose City Rollers and Portland Firefighters Association encourage you to come and support a great cause.
