At 11:45 pm, Portland firefighters responded to reports of a house fire at 3954 NE 18th Avenue. Upon arrival, crews found fire coming from the back of the house and spreading to the second story of the 1 1/2 story structure. After a quick search, it was determined that the home was vacant.

Investigators are currently on scene and the cause of the fire is still undetermined.
