Crews responded to a residential fire this morning at approximately 5:30am.  Upon arrival firefighters reported heavy, black smoke venting under pressure from the unattached garage.  The conditions were difficult to determine what the extent of the fire was at the time of arrival.  Crews worked quickly to establish a water supply and ventilated the garage to help improve the conditions for the firefighters inside the structure.  There was no fire extension to the home.

The fire was knocked down quickly, crews are still currently working and Investigators are on scene.
