At approximately 6:51pm Portland Fire & Rescue responded to the report of a small aircraft landing at Robert Gray Middle School located in the area of SW 23rd and Beaverton Hillsdale Highway. The plane reportedly ran out of fuel, and the pilot looked for a safe place to land. Witnesses stated that they saw the plane circle a couple of times before it landed. The pilot was the only one on board and stepped out of the plane uninjured.

Portland Fire & Rescue has responded to reports of a small aircraft landing at Robert Gray School at SW 23rd and Beaverton Hillsdale Highway. The plane ran reportedly out of fuel, and the pilot looked for a safe place to land. The pilot is apparently uninjured.
Portland Fire & Rescue's Public Information Officer is on scene and media is staged at the school.
