Portland Firefighters Respond to a House Fire Overnight (855 NE Rosa Parks Way)

At Approx. 2:45 am this morning firefighters were called to a vacant two story house with reports of fire on the exterior. On arrival firefighters indeed found fire on the first floor extending to the second floor. Firefighters aggressively attacked this fire and were able to contain and extinguish it quickly.
Firefighters performed a search and confirmed that the home was in fact empty. Reports are that the occupant moved out approximately one month ago. No one was injured as a result of this fire. A fire investigator was called to the scene and determined this fire to be caused by an electrical issue. The fire started near the electrical panel.
